You are just one day in Vienna? Make the most of it. The city has so much to offer, and if you are prepared and know where to go, no problem at all.
If you are walking from the Schoenbrunn station to the Hietzing Exit of the Park it might take you about 30 min. Don’t head to the station, but go for a coffee or viennese cake at the famous Dommayer Café.
Not much time? Head back to the city center with U4. Want to explore more? Take the tram number 58 right infront of the coffeehouse to Westbahnhof. Not only is the Railstation an architectural eye feast from outside, but the beginning of the biggest shopping street in Vienna. My favorite Deli for a quick Smoothie or else healthy things: the Freiraum, Deli, Restaurant, Pizzeria – one of my favorite places to hang out, sometimes it’s just a quick Espresso, when running errands.
Mariahilferstrasse brings you right to the city center by foot, where you will find several Museums such as: MuseumsQuartier
From there take a walk through the park of Burggarten and enjoy the Albertina Museum,
or get wild with real City Shopping, or visit my favorite Sushi place:
Shiki – Japanese Fine dining is also great for a business lunch
Hard Rock Cafe – for the trusted Souvenir, Beer & Burger Experience
A luxury drink at the best hotel in Vienna: Hotel Imperial
