Hanslteich. Summer Escape in the City

Klee am Hanslteich

Some things stay the same, some things grow bigger and better. Hanslteich has been one of my favorite places for more than 20 years. A little pond in-between the woods of the Neuwaldegg area.

A restaurant update (2012: here, 2013: here) and one of my top summer highlights to escape the heat and enjoy nature, while relaxing on a terrace.

The furniture and interior are quite the same, the food is good, the desserts huge as always. The homemade lemonades are sensational and the little hanging tags are pure cuteness overload. The service is getting better each time I visit the place, even if I was satisfied every single stay at the pond. Last time I had an invitation emergency, and got a table for 5 to place my paper cutter. That’s what I call service! Well, I love details, and there is a new addition every season. Just sayin‘ handbag hangers on the chairs. Nobody who loves his handbag would like to place it on the floor. Love that!
