Hello from the most beautiful season in Vienna. Spring arrived and is here to stay.
Everyone is visiting the beautiful parks of the city. Whether it is Stadtpark (above), next to MAK – the Museum of Applied Arts, which happens to have the most amazing windows I could admire for hours, beside the art exhibited.
Burggarten next to the Albertina museum,
or a little bit outside the city center: Schoenbrunn Palace Gardens
Flower Power everywhere. What a joy to go outside and leave the car at home and take a walk through the city. That’s the time of the year, when I find little stores I never would find by driving the car to run errands. Places I almost forgot and new little gems hidden in districts behind big streets.
One of those stores: Suppan & Suppan Interieur (here) with lovely Easter decorations in-between furniture from near and far like India, China, Morocco. Just in time as my Easter Decoration was quite a bit minimalistic so far, even if I have the perfect print for the season hanging on the wall already (here).
Or Rori’s Finest Sweets (Pilgramgasse 11), a small Cake Store just a short walk away. Nice for a coffeebreak or even little lunch and always good for some sweets at home, like this triple chocolate sin.
My list for chocolate shopping remains the same like for other occasions. Find it in my previous post:
Well, Demel is always a great idea for beautifully packed sweet gifts fitting in little Easter baskets.
Brainstorming where to hide the Easter Goodies this season with a nice cocktail works always better. My new fav: Rhubarb-Basil-Lillet-Spritz
And I have to start to pack, because we are away for a few days on a familytrip. Stay tuned under the hashtag #vanansichtkaart on Twitter for the next week, or follow my new Instagram account reserved for traveling pics here:
