The Hotel Bristol is one of the oldest traditional hotel of Vienna. I remember adoring the facade on my way to school for four years daily. Later I used to visit the Café now and then, but actually never saw the Hotel inside. Well, kind of normal when you are a resident of the city.
Instagramers Austria were invited to have their Christmas Party here, and I was fortunate to join the fun evening and not only have some nice food and drinks, but saw 3 major Suites and hotel rooms.
One the way to the rooms I already explored so many beautiful details, like huge glass jars filled with christmas cookies. Honestly, I had way to much of these delicious pastries. But how can one resist?
The antique Suites were impressive and The Prince of Wales Suite probably the biggest in Vienna. But I didn’t fall in love with the size or the interior. My heart beats for the details in the rooms.
Antique glass and silver everywhere. Look at those Herend porcelain Beauties dating back to the austrian-hungarian monarchy:
The parsley pattern is one of my favorite tableware designs ever.
If I had to choose a room at the Bristol, I would probably go for one in the newer part of the hotel. The black and white interior really appealed to me and made me wish to stay for a while.
I will have to keep the Hotel in mind for next years Christmas or New Years Eve celebrations. Truly a festive place for the holidays.
