First shown in New York City in 2012, the Laundromat installation by Ardan Ozmenoglu conquered my heart only by seeing snapshots from the various stations of exhibitions in the last two years.
Playing with the history of printmaking, she took hundreds of Post-It Notes, arranged them in cheerful color combinations, then printed and painted on the moving paper.
Just as lively as her artwork catches your attention, Ardan welcomes you with a bright and happy personality.
„Her art is easily accessible and invites you to see, watch and feel contemporary approaches to history.“

Everyone wanted to see that special installation at the little Art Space „NENI Artcolletive“ on Naschmarkt in the 4th district. No wonder I met some people from the art and fashion scene like Karin Oebster from the label Kayiko. And guess what? I wore two of her pieces tonight 😉
Take the chance to see the installation before the next stop at the Biennale 2014 in China.
