It’s all about the details in my life; in fashion design as well as in interior design. And therefore I am very much looking forward what foodblogger Alexandra Palla created with the dottings design team for next week in the Pop-up Food&Design Hall, a former theatre auditorium in the beautiful 18th district of Vienna. What a location to start with a walk through the stations of Vienna Design Week 2013.
We had a lovely chat last week, when she gave me some insides what to expect in the RoughCut Hall. Everything will revolve around the her RoughCut Board with cooking, tasting, drinking and talking …
Beside the Food & Design Pop up SHOP with austrian delicacies like Joseph bread, Julie Pop Bakery, Thum ham and Quester fishes there will be a culinary highlight every day of the week. I will miss the opening on Sunday, because I will present my Screenprinting Collection on Edelstoff (more about that in my next post), but I will definitely not miss the „Queen of Soup“ Laurence Koblinger on Thursday, so see you then!
Meanwhile I am enjoying my RoughCut Board, which I got as a present (thank you!) and use it nonstop in the Vanportraitkitchen since then. I couldn’t imagine before, that a Juicy Corner is the thing I missed on a kitchen-board. But hey, that’s the coolest thing!
The thoughtful packaging instantly reminded me to get some more boards as presents for friends. Isn’t that the perfect gift for a housewarming party combined with a nice bowl of salt and bread?
