Foodcamp 2012 had an amazing debut last year, and everyone was looking forward to a second edition. Last weekend The Coolinary Society surprised all attending Austrian Foodbloggers with a glam location, the Sans Souci Palais in the 4th district, and an AEG cooking stage rocked by a chef cook you would wish for in your dreams.
I chose 6 out of dozens sessions including the charming presentation of Berlin’s high quality coffee from the Coffee Circle, where I have to order some Limu coffee, after I tried all the variations presented. Reinventing Every Shot (pixelcoma), is always a must listen, because Cliff makes Photoshop a fun experience. The Blogstrip with Facts and the Naked Truth about the blog simply4friends.at was a nice journey back to the roots of blogging and how everything changed in the last 20 years. Histamine free wines (Weingut Weiss) was quite important for me as I suffer from a histamine intolerance, but love to drink a good glass of wine. Green Rabbit brought some interesting facts about Does and Don’t in your Garden to our attention such as taking care of your herbs and fertilization of vegetables and fruits. Unfortunately I missed the great Katharina Seiser, Blog: Esskultur and her tour trough the world of citrus rarities, but luckily some foodbloggers made amazing pictures and wrote about that culinary traveling …
The Project and Story of NOAN Olive Oil (noanoliveoil.com) touched me deeply, and will get an extra blogpost, because I really think that we all could learn a lot in that case.
Besides all the interesting facts and news, I had the chance to get to know many faces behind their creative blogs and delicious recipes, like
Cliff – pixelcoma, Christoph – Eaglepowder, Sassi – Zwergenprinzessin, Petra – Pixi mit Milch, Anna – hpunktanna, Janneke – Orangenmond, Antonia – You are hungry, Ulli – Fit & Glücklich, Roman – Simply4Friends, Alexandra – Roughcutblog, Kevin- The Stepford Husband.at, Monika – Minifeast, Eva – Mundschenkand many, many thanks to Dani and Nina for that special Event.

My session PINTEREST – Bilder ohne Worte | open for public on ISSUU (again: sorry that I didn’t choose a bigger screen display)
Back home I spent all sunday by playing with my new AEG-kitchen-friend, which was part of a huge Goodie Bag. Of course I had a Stick Mixer at home, and a pretty good one and didn’t think of looking for a new machine. But this one has some fun features. Well, the LED blue light speed indicator 😉 is a goodie for the kid that survived in some adults (like me). Really interesting is the infinitely variable speed selector, which gives me the possibility not to over puree the herbs in my smoothies.
The Sellerie Soup, I made later that day turned out perfectly. So thanks for that handy kitchen tool, which I will love to use on a regular basis.
