Knowing full well that nothing will beat the perfect taste of fresh, french Croissants or Eclairs, we decided to make our Pancakes a la Casa last weekend. So we could not be disappointed already during breakfast (who wants to start a day like this?). This recipe always gets the most kudos from all our overnight guests.
What you will need for 2 hungry teenagers:
75g spelt flour
1tsp baking soda
1tsp Fleur de Sel
1 freerange egg
100g sour cream
1tsp almond oil
a bit of nutmeg
2tsp brown sugar
Mix all the incredients together, but don’t overdo it and wait about 20 minutes. Pour the batter in very small portions in a preheated non-stick pan, which should be greased with a slice of butter to get this caramel brown superthin skin.
Oh! so delicious with sliced apples and maple syrup.
