Bonjour mes amis.
Starting the holiday-memories report from last weeks Paris trip with some pictures from „the Happiest Street of the World“ – like someone commented on my Vine video.
And he was true. Peaceful, beautiful and not to miss, when in Paris.
Avoid the crowd on the big shopping streets and enjoy high-end shopping the classy way your clothes deserve.
Starting at the metro station Franklin D. Roosevelt (M1, M9) on the Rond-Point des Champs-Elysées (bus 28/42/73/80), where you will find the famous auction house Artcurial. I have to admit that I didn’t take the metro but the bus, because you just get the better view and can hop on and off as you wish, or simply used my feet for exploring the city. (note: Bus 42 was one of my favs)
The boutiques are lined up like little pearls on a charming necklace.
If you just have limited time to stay in Paris, Plaza Athenee is the perfect place to stay, as it is located right in the middle of Avenue Montaigne.
The five star hotel with fine décor à la parisienne celebrates its 100’s birthday in 2013 and is the most beautiful decorated place IMO.Plaza Athenee – 25 Avenue Montaigne, 75008 Paris
The windows are small, but always surprise with a well thought out detail. Right on the opposite of Dior there is your solution for a well deserved break.
Shopping and walking makes hungry. The Costes Brothers offer the perfect breakfast and lunch and the terrace is a wonderful place for that.L’Avenue – 41 Avenue Montaigne, 75008 Paris
