Happy NatioNal Day

On October, 25th in 1955 the last foreign soldier left Austrian territory. On the next day the Austrian National Council decided via constitutional law perpetual neutrality.

Every year at the National Day celebrations are held at the viennese Heldenplatz. Highlight for many Austrians is the great showcase of the federal army and the opening of the doors for public of the Imperial Palace, Parliament and various government buildings.
