It is a much smaller scene than in other cities, but we have to admit that the Austrian Fashion Scene and Austrian Designers have been working very hard, and more than one of them successful. The results can be admired during this weeks MQ VIENNA FASHION WEEK and many side events around.
If you are into fashion hurry up and buy yourself a dayticket (14 Euro) for the MQ VIENNA FASHION WEEK.
Or, if you like it more quiet and personal, visit one of the Showrooms and Ateliers in town, like I did a few days ago at KAYIKO, which is my favorite austrian designer for more than a decade now. KAYIKO offers avant-garde designer fashion and accessories in exclusive limited editions and individual pieces for self-conscious, cosmopolitan people who value design, quality and individual luxury.
I found an amazing purple shirt for Fall 2011 and can’t wait to wear it with one of my beloved silk scarves like Perspective.
Karin Oebster knows how to cherish her clients and the atmosphere in her shop is unique.
