The Joy of White Tea Scent by Lothantique

The Joy of White Tea Scent by Lothantique

Years ago a friend presented a special beloved handcreme by Lothantique to me. It was part of the Les Lavandes series with organic Shea butter and left a heavenly scent of lavender on your hands. Since then I tried many products by Lothantique, but always from the same series.

Recently I found something new (to me): the La Bonne Maison fragrance diffuser. I chose the sent White tea and couldn’t be more happy with the choice. It is promised to last about 3 months, so I will have a white tea scented home until Easter, before I will have to find another home fragrance for spring.

I think the beautiful glass fragrance diffuser could be a great Valentine’s or Mother’s Day gift too. Maybe I should buy another bottle …

Have a nice weekend everyone!

WINDOWS OF PARIS - SUSHI Lunch

Having a thing for Experimental Sushi and being a big fan of the Dots Group in Vienna, I couldn’t wait to have lunch in Paris’ funniest department store. Their monthly newsletter always saves me from presenting boring gifts.

WINDOWS OF PARIS - SUSHI Lunch: The Kate Moss Box

Right before our holidays started the french chain Sushi Shop, with the most beautiful sushi arrangements, announced the collaboration with sushi fan Kate Moss to promote their upcoming 1st London opening next month.

Of course I had to get my hands on one of those boxes filled with 40 pieces of raw fish art, which was only available for two weeks in Paris.

Most difficult thing: I had to explain to the family that we have to have lunch in the cellar of a fashion store and eating out of a box, which I will take home all the way from Paris to Vienna. And that we have to order a bottle of Water (not wine) as we visit The Water Bar. You can’t imagine the doubting look I gathered. But they had to admit afterwards that it was one of the best sushi lunches we had so far.

Paris Memories Montmartre

Montmartre Paris

Sunday in Montmartre

This area of Paris can be a dreamlike experience or a tourist nightmare.

Montmartre - Paris - Sacre Coeur

Countless people want to see the sunset over Paris every evening from the steps infront of the Basilika Sacré-Cœur (sacred heart). Honestly, I like the sacred hill in the 18th arrondissement much better during the morning hours.

Montmartre Bus

Strolling around is a pleasure, but the Montmartrobus is the perfect alternative to explore the hill without walking.

Montmartre Paris Place Dalida

You will find many charming places to have a coffee or lunch.

La Maison Rose, Montmartre, Paris

There are so many options to get a glimpse of what the french saying “savoir vivre” really means.

Montmartre Paris

I really tried my best this time to find the quiet places in Paris and did not so bad.

Montmartre Paris

If you read my post about preparing for the family trip, you know how my first holidays turned out here. Lesson learned.

Rue Cortot. Paris.

My favorite place to eat was definitely

Chez Ginette

Montmartre Paris café Chez_Ginette

A relaxed place, excellent quality, prices very reasonable for Paris and the service super friendly.

Out of town: Paris 2 Dynamo

20130511-121919.jpg

Family holidays could be fun City trips, but sometimes you should just take a break, especially when there is an exhibition you want to enjoy extensivley.
I visited the Grand Palais in Paris today right after a quick croissant and was rewarded with just 10 minutes waiting in line. Which is pretty good for this city.

Dynamo is a modern art exhibition from the 20th century: 1913-2013
The most inovative art sculptures you could imagine. I really got breathless by the wonderfully curated pieces.

Right now Taking everything in a second time by having a break on one of the cosy sofas with my audio guide before leaving the magical place. Thanks to the great WIFi I made a lot of videos, as the expositures are so dynamic that photographs often don’t make much sense.

You will find a lot of videos on my Vine account:
