A Baroque Costume Picture

My fairytale? My dream?

It is easy to attend a ball in Vienna. But what is still missing on the list of ’10 things you want to do before you die’ to be completed by me: Wearing a baroque dress and of course a wig like that one:

Seen today at the rehearsal of the Fashionshow ‘History of Fashion’ backstage. Not only is this my dream-costume outfit, but a purple wig! – hey that’s pretty awesome and I just know:  I can’t wait to see the real show on August, 8th 2012 at 7PM.

The History of Fashion is a major fashion spectacle with almost 200 participating actors and models. All eras in fashion are covered, starting with Adam and Eve and the ancient cultures of Egypt, Greece, and the Roman Empire and continuing over the Middle Ages, the Baroque, and Jugendstil up to the present day. The event will be held in the Main Courtyard of the MuseumsQuartier and is free to the public.via
