Vienna on Ice
Some days ago I posted about the dreamy scene ‘Windows of Ice Skating‘ with pure pleasure on ice – The Vienna Ice Dream 2011. I didn’t know then how marvelous it will be when you visit the place by night:
It was a little bit optimistic to wear the little Gavroche ‘Litterature‘ designed by A.M. Cassandre (Hermès) closed with a Tribord Scarfring. Next time I will choose one of my trusted Cashmere Shawls again.
SIDENOTE: For those who love Iceskating and Shows-on-Ice as much as I do and can head to New York on short notice, should try to get an invitation for Elise Øverland‘s Fashion Show Fall 2011: Her friend André Balazs offered her the ice rink outside the Standard Hotel for her fashion show during Fashionweek on February 12, 2011. The show-on-ice will feature an installation from the Art Production Fund and figure skaters from the Ice Theatre of New York. And that’s not all: Longtime Øverland client Johnny Weir is choreographing, and will come out for a skate. Special bonus: The designer will be serving glögg in the Standard’s lounge.
